Dilshad Keshwani

Dilshad Keshwani hails from India. She has been practicing meditation since a child. She first qualified as a teacher trainer with Masters in Education, from London University, Masters in Islamic Studies and Public Administration, from Osmania University, India. She served as a Teacher Trainer for 16 years in India. Having been introduced to Yoga in 2000, she found herself home with the meditation practice. She first undertook her 200 hour Teacher training at The Yoga Institute, (Mumbai), India. She then completed her 500 hour Teacher Training at Be Yoga/Yogaworks, New York. She regards meditation as the best gift of Yoga and fruit of Yoga, while the Asanas and Pranayama are a process to enhance Meditation. In her teaching, she emphasizes Yoga practice with Asanas and Pranayama as meditation in movement. Yoga practice with breath work for her is the gateway to experience the union in one’s own body, mind and spirit, and access the divinity.
